Terms and Conditions
Snug will seek to obtain sufficient information from the client and from our own observations as necessary, to provide a quotation which is intended to form the basis of contract between the client and Snug.
In providing a quotation, Snug will take into consideration all aspects of regulations and manufacturers guidelines relating to the proposed work.
Where an installation requires Snug to install an approved carbon monoxide detector or suitable external wall ventilation, the client agrees that Snug will fit these components at the time of installation.
It is the responsibility of the client to advise Snug of any defect or omission or concern that may have an effect on the proposed work prior to placing an order. Repairs of any constructional faults that are subsequently found will not be covered by our quotation. Therefore any extra work that may be required to rectify unforeseen problems will be charged at the appropriate rate, along with the cost of any additional materials used.
Quotations are open for acceptance by the client for 60 days but are subject to revision or withdrawal by Snug prior to the acceptance of the order. In placing an order with Snug, the client agrees to be bound by Snug’s terms and conditions.
Snug and the client will agree timescales for the work to be carried out at the time the order is placed, which will be within six weeks of the order date unless otherwise agreed. Snug will not accept any responsibility for any delays in meeting agreed timescales that occur due to circumstances beyond our control.
A non-refundable deposit, agreed at the time of the accepted quotation, is required on all orders placed. Final payment and any agreed interim payments will be due immediately upon completion of each phase of work, upon presentation of an invoice by Snug to the client. We accept payments by cash, bank transfer or cheque (payable to “Snug Fireplace and Stove Installations”).
